Description

This is the fully-customizable short-sleeve home kit for the Bolivia 1994 World Cup campaign.

This shirt is extremely memorable for any La Verde fan as it was the last time they qualified for a World Cup, in the summer of 1994.

The team qualified for that World Cup with great hopes, the results coming from the creation of the Academia Tahuichi Aguilera in 1978. After the creation of the academy, they started to produce many great players, and they qualified for the 1994 World Cup right behind Brazil in the Conmebol qualifiers, topping every other South-American team. In the World Cup itself, there were no less than 9 players from the academy, most notably Marco Etcheverry, their number 10.

The team was drawn in a tough group containing Germany, South Korea, and Spain. In the opening match against Spain, Marco Etcheverry got sent off after Matthäus hit him with an elbow in the jaw, and Etcheverry retaliated. The Germans afterward won with an offside goal. They went on to draw against South Korea and then lose to Spain, only to bow out early of the competition unfairly.

If it’s a mistake on our end, and the shirt is damaged or has defects, we pay the return shipping. If you simply don’t like it and want to return it, you pay the shipping. Another small way of highlighting our superior customer service.

It all started when we were around 5 or 6 years old…

We would go to school in the day, and then go back home. Then, we’d be out and about for the rest of the day. We were playing football with the rest of the kids from around our home all day.
