Description

This is the fully-customizable short-sleeve home kit for the Inter Milan 1993-1994 Season.

The 1993-1994 season was a dramatic and unusual chapter in Inter Milan’s history, characterized by domestic struggles but remarkable European success.

During the summer of 1993, Inter made several high-profile acquisitions, including Dutch stars Dennis Bergkamp and Wim Jonk, who had been scouted in the previous winter. The club also strengthened its squad with the signings of Gianluca Festa, Massimo Paganin, and Francesco Dell’Anno, all aimed at boosting quality and depth. Expectations were high, particularly for Bergkamp and Sosa, who were expected to provide goals and creativity.

In Serie A, the team struggled for consistency from the start. By Christmas, Inter had a recoverable gap from the top, but the league campaign began to unravel in early February after a 1-2 defeat to Lazio. Manager Osvaldo Bagnoli was sacked and replaced by Giampiero Marini, who tried to stabilize the squad. Despite some late efforts, Inter finished 13th in the league, narrowly avoiding relegation – the worst league finish for the club in modern Serie A. Rubén Sosa was the standout performer domestically, scoring 16 goals, including a memorable hat-trick in a 3-2 win over Parma.

The team also participated in the Coppa Italia, reaching the quarter-finals but falling short of the trophy. Dennis Bergkamp and Davide Fontolan were the top scorers in the competition with 2 goals each. However, it was in the UEFA Cup where Inter truly shone. Under Marini, the Nerazzurri navigated past Borussia Dortmund, Cagliari, and Casino Salzburg to reach the final. Inter defeated Austria’s Casino Salzburg over two legs, with Wim Jonk scoring the decisive goal in the second leg, securing the UEFA Cup title – a historic European triumph amid domestic disappointment. Dennis Bergkamp finished as the club’s top scorer across all competitions with 18 goals, highlighting his importance on the continental stage.

Overall, the 1993-1994 season was a tale of contrasts for Inter Milan: domestic inconsistency and near-relegation were offset by European glory, giving fans both anxiety and unforgettable moments.

Notable Players: Walter Zenga, Giuseppe Bergomi, Riccardo Ferri, Gianluca Festa, Wim Jonk, Nicola Berti, Igor Shalimov, Dennis Bergkamp, Rubén Sosa, Darko Pančev, Salvatore Schillaci.

It all started when we were around 5 or 6 years old…

We would go to school in the day, and then go back home. Then, we’d be out and about for the rest of the day. We were playing football with the rest of the kids from around our home all day.

We were playing for hours, and we never stopped, even if our moms called us to get inside. We would yell “10 more minutes!”, right before spending another two hours on the field.

It didn’t matter whether it was sunny, rainy, or there was a snowstorm. We were still playing, from Spring to Winter, every single day.

And we were wearing the same jerseys you can find on our store. We are more than a jersey company…

We want to help you Relive the Memories Through Old-School Jerseys.
